Join to apply for the DevOps Automation Consultant role at Kearney & Company

The DevOps Automation Consultant will support the Air Force Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) program. Responsibilities include leading a DevOps automation team, developing automation strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system stability and security.

Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret clearance (US Citizenship required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Security+ CE certification
  • Experience with Oracle Database, Oracle EBS, or Unix shell scripting
  • 5+ years supporting DevOps/DevSecOps environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, configuration management, cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet), scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby), and version control (Git)
  • Experience managing automation teams and implementing automation strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and industry trend awareness
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with government and contractor teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile development
  • Supporting DoD or USAF technology infrastructure

This position is currently remote but may require onsite presence based on client needs.
