Job summary

Amtex Systems Inc. is seeking a DevOps Technical Lead / Architect to guide cloud infrastructure design, CI/CD implementation, and standardization across AWS environments.

You will lead automation efforts, manage IaC with Terraform, and optimize deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions to support reliable software delivery. Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for DevOps, cloud infra, and CI/CD initiatives.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support efficient, scalable, and reliable software delivery.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform across AWS environments.
• Define and implement DevOps standards, best practices, tooling, and automation patterns across engineering teams.
• Design, provision, configure, and optimize AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC) to support application workloads.
• Lead or support disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
• Establish automated deployment strategies, including blue/green and rolling deployments.
• Evaluate existing DevOps processes and architectures and identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues across environments (dev, staging, production).
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure system resilience and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to establish and promote DevOps best practices.

We are seeking a DevOps Technical Lead / Architect to provide technical leadership in designing, implementing, and standardizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD solutions that support modern software delivery. This role will focus on establishing DevOps architecture and best practices, building reliable and automated deployment workflows, managing infrastructure as code, and optimizing cloud environments within AWS. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and AWS, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives around disaster recovery, DevOps standardization, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Experience developing or implementing DevOps standards, frameworks, and best practices across engineering teams
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, high availability, or infrastructure resilience initiatives
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, cloud security, and cloud architecture principles
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
