Job description
DevOps Architect – Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and document procedures for automated deployment processes for all IaC and ensure they are in line with industry best practices.
Perform architecture, design and engineering of Azure DevOps, including process modifications, source control, and all other aspects of the features provided by Azure DevOps.
Help guide teams to adopt an agile and continuous improvement culture.
Work with the cyber security services team to ensure all Application servers meet or exceed the organization's security standards.
Regularly review and manage access to production Application environments along with operations team.
Partner with other technology team members to design, document and support all internal and external audit controls pertaining to software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
Provide escalated support for Azure DevOps issues.
Develop detailed release assembly and build instructions, including the exact sequence of operations.
Develop automated installation scripts and associated test plans for systems Software.
Develop master copies of the installation media and installation instructions for systems Software, to be stored in the DSL.
Develop back-out procedures to ensure that they can be accomplished within the downtime window scheduled for implementation of the release.
