Adventist Health in Oregon is seeking an experienced clinical technician to manage implanted cardiac devices, including pacemakers and ICDs, under physician oversight. You will perform device interrogations, adjust programming per protocol, and coordinate care with the device team and patients.
The role requires independent judgment, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to educate patients, schedule services, and support regulatory compliance within a busy device clinic.
Maintains performance responsibility as an experienced/skilled practice technical clinician. Performs independently, with physician oversight, in the technical management of implanted cardiac pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) devices. Manages device patients and care implementing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other device team members. Acts as a competent clinician who provides clinical care in a skilled and effective manner, utilizing appropriate technical and decision‑making skills.
