Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho seeks a Process Integration Engineer to advance next-generation DRAM technologies in a manufacturing setting.

You will gain hands-on experience with semiconductor process integration, electrical data analysis, yield optimization, and cross-functional problem solving to influence product performance. The role focuses on enabling DRAM tech progression, analyzing process data for yield improvements, and driving continuous improvements with partnering teams

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with CMOS technology and semiconductor manufacturing fundamentals.
• Knowledge of semiconductor process modules such as CMP, thin films, etch, and photolithography.
• Understanding of memory technologies including DRAM, NAND, and NOR.
• Experience with statistical data analysis and problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Enable next generation DRAM technologies in manufacturing and support yield ramp activities.
• Analyze electrical and inline process data to identify yield detractors, process excursions, and improvement opportunities.
• Optimize process integration flows and device structures to enhance yield, performance, and manufacturability.
• Monitor manufacturing performance and ensure process specifications and structural integrity meet production requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Process Integration Engineer, you will work with an industry-leading team to enable advanced DRAM technologies in a manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on experience in semiconductor process integration, electrical data analysis, yield optimization, and cross-functional problem solving. You will have the opportunity to drive process improvements, influence product performance, and help accelerate technology scaling through engineering excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of semiconductor process modules such as CMP, thin films, etch, and photolithography
• Understanding of memory technologies including DRAM, NAND, and NOR
• Experience with statistical data analysis and problem-solving methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Semiconductor industry experience in process integration, process development, or yield engineering
• Knowledge of advanced DRAM technologies and manufacturing processes
• Experience with advanced CMOS process integration and technology optimization
• Experience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiatives
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field
