Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY is seeking new college graduates for full-time roles in advanced silicon transistor technology. You will design, execute, and analyze experiments to develop 12nm technology and beyond, interfacing with FEOL, unit process, reliability, and modeling teams.

You will optimize devices, perform physics-based modeling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

Education - Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, or related field from an accredited degree program.
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
0-2 years of relevant experience.
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Optimize and develop semiconductor devices and processes to enable device characterization.
Perform specialized device design and development while applying an understanding of the process integration that leads to device characterization.
Optimize devices by applying semiconductor device physics and knowledge of associated device manufacturing processes.
Conduct analytical and physics-based modeling and apply process integration methods.
Enable new features efficiently for new technologies, features, or device introductions.
Collaborate with cross-functional technology development teams on projects and assignments as needed.
