Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking new college graduates to design, execute, and analyze experiments aimed at advancing silicon transistor technology (12nm generation and beyond) in a development environment. You will interact with FEOL, unit process, reliability and modeling teams to meet technology goals and ensure manufacturability.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in EE or related field, a 0–2 year experience window, and strong data analysis skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, or related field from an accredited program.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing.
0–2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or related field.
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Optimize and develop semiconductor devices and processes to enable device characterization.
Perform specialized device design and development while applying an understanding of the process integration that leads to device characterization.
Optimize devices by applying semiconductor device physics and knowledge of associated device manufacturing processes.
Conduct analytical and physics-based modeling and apply process integration methods.
Enable new features efficiently for new technologies, features, or device introductions.
Collaborate with cross-functional technology development teams on projects and assignments as needed.
