Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education or ALP in ECSPED, or related 4-year degree.
• Developmental therapist certification/eligibility per First Connections standards.
• Must meet licensing and professional development requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and observe/evaluate child performance to support learning.
• Complete plans of care and ensure implementation by an interdisciplinary team.
• Engage families and staff to build positive relationships and kindergarten readiness.
• Conduct developmental screenings and participate in conferences (Enrollment, Annual Review, Dismissal).
• Collaborate with therapists and nursing staff to create ITP/IFSP and monitor progress.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with policies and HIPAA.
