What you'll bring

• Proven ability to perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs across multiple crafts including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Experience inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards.
• Ability to respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and prioritize tasks efficiently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license and able to pass motor vehicle report.
• Option 1: 1 year's experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 2 years' Walmart store experience.
• Ability to read and speak the English language as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
