In this role, you’ll determine a child’s eligibility and need for services, provide ongoing home based services to address the strengths and developmental needs of children and coach parents to promote the child’s development.
Since 1967, the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities has been serving the people of Licking County. Today, we employ 100 staff members and work with over 2500 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. In addition, we offer:
We’re located at 116 N. 22 nd Street in Newark, OH, a quick 30 minute drive from Columbus, Zanesville, Lancaster, Mt. Vernon and the Buckeye Lake area.
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Health, Social or Behavioral Science, Social Services, Human Services or a related field required. An individual holding a COTA, PTA or LSW license would be preferred. Must be well organized, detail oriented, have the ability to meet deadlines and most importantly, have the passion and enthusiasm to make a difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities.
