Job summary

Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Developmental Specialist to serve as the primary service provider for children from birth to six. You will determine eligibility, provide home-based support, and coach families to support developmental progress.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and may have COTA/PTA/LSW licensure. This role offers a structured schedule, benefits, and potential remote work after six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Health, Social or Behavioral Science, Social Services, Human Services or a related field.
• COTA, PTA, or LSW license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine a child’s eligibility and need for services.
• Provide ongoing home-based services to address strengths and developmental needs of children.
• Coach parents to promote the child’s development.
