Job summary

Mountain Valley Development Services is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to train and supervise adults with developmental disabilities in Community Integrated and Supported Employment programs. You will act as a liaison among employers, clients, and MVDS staff, contributing to program development and monitoring client satisfaction.

You will mentor clients, develop job analyses, provide on-site training, and report safety concerns to ensure successful placements and ongoing support for participants

Qualifications

• Job Coach provides training and supervision for developmentally disabled adults in Community Integrated and/or Supported Employment Programs.
• Acts as a liaison between community-based employers, individuals receiving services, and Mountain Valley staff.
• Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring client programming and job satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support individuals in achieving personal goals and promoting independence.
• Treat clients with respect and dignity.
• Develop task analysis on all parts of job with Employment Coordinator's assistance.
• Provide hands-on training and contact with clients at the job site.
• Maintain awareness of problem areas and report to Employment Coordinator for safety issues or barriers.
