Texas A&M International University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology to begin Fall 2027. It is a 9-month tenure-track or tenured position with a possible reduced teaching load to support research.

The duties include establishing an independent, externally funded research program, applying for grants, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and mentoring students while supporting recruitment, curriculum development, and accreditation.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Developmental Psychology or related field; ABD considered.
• Record of peer-reviewed publications and potential for external funding.

Responsibilities

• Establish an independent, externally funded research program in Developmental Psychology.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses; mentor students on research and projects.
• Contribute to psychology programs, curriculum development, accreditation, and departmental service.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary research and participate in committees; maintain face-to-face campus presence.
