Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks a physician to deliver medical services in both practice and hospital settings. The role emphasizes high-quality, cost-effective care and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

The position requires graduation from an accredited medical school, residency and/or fellowship, and state MD/DO licensure, with Board Certification/Eligibility in the specialty. The physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage in ongoing patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship
• MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice
• Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, et cetera, as needed
• Educates patients and their families about wellness and prevention of health problems
