Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Elementary teaching certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and state standards.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and student participation.
• Knowledge and experience administering and using a variety of performance assessment tools.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate school-wide events and activities.
• Attend and participate in faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns.
