Job summary

Responsibilities include teamwork, safety, and crisis intervention, with required Habilitation Aide Training within 30 days, a high school diploma or GED, STOFHLA test, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Completion of Habilitation Aide Training within 30 days
• High School diploma or GED
• Passing STOFHLA health literacy test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to intervene physically in behavioral or health crises
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Monitor individuals at all times and communicate observations in logs
• Assist in activities of daily living and community outings
• Support in meal planning, shopping, and budget adherence
• Provide safe transportation and practice defensive driving
• Assist in medical/dental appointments and health monitoring
• Maintain clean and safe home environment and document repairs
• Respond to emergencies and follow disaster plans
• Documentation of care plans and adherence to policies
