Job summary

Northwell Health's Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Long Island, NY is seeking a Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician to join the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. The position focuses on clinical evaluation and follow-up of children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, sleep and feeding issues, and developmental delays in an outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates are BC/BE in DBP or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities; pediatricians with strong interest in developmental issues

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pediatrics is required; DBP/Neurodevelopmental Disabilities certification or eligibility preferred.
• Experience evaluating and managing a broad range of developmental and behavioral disorders in children is desired.
• Outpatient clinical care with potential involvement in resident/fellow teaching and research.

Responsibilities

• Clinical evaluation and follow-up of children and adolescents with developmental/behavioral concerns in an outpatient setting.
• Active involvement in resident and fellowship training; potential research opportunities.
