Job summary

Albany Medical College, within the Albany Med Health System, is recruiting a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to join the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital team in Albany, NY. The Division provides diagnostic assessments and medical management for patients up to 21 years with ASD, delays, ADHD, learning and behavioral health concerns.

The successful candidate will collaborate with psychiatry, neurology and genetics, contribute to innovative DB programming and teach residents

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
• Interest in developing innovative programming within the scope of DB practice.
• Experience or interest in teaching house staff and medical students.
• Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient centered care across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic assessments and medical management of patients up to 21 years of age with developmental concerns including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, ADHD, learning disorders and behavioral health disorders.
• Partnering with pediatric practitioners including psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology and genetics.
