Job description

About Soar

Soar Autism Center is an innovative healthcare provider at the frontlines of the autism care landscape, a market with substantial unmet need. Soar is building a network of clinics where children with autism and their families receive life‑shaping services that support them to thrive. We are building a differentiated service offering for families, advancing the standard of care in a rapidly growing market.

Specifically, we provide integrated and comprehensive services to children 6 and under with autism. Our care model is focused on a hyper‑specialized form of autism therapy called the Early Start Denver Model, or ESDM, one of the most research‑tested approaches in ASD care yet one of the hardest modalities to find, in an integrated care team format. We craft individual therapy plans in deep coordination with families, setting goals that are ambitious and focusing on building skills that enable children to grow into their fullest selves.

We provide care in a state‑of‑the‑art, autistic‑friendly facility, with the goal that a child’s time at the center mirrors an early childhood learning experience. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally‑appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family.

We have opened 26 centers in our 4‑year history across Colorado and Arizona, all of which have quickly reached capacity and typically run with waitlists. We are now focused on scaling our platform and are looking to expand our Developmental Pediatric Medical Services program. Join us as we strive to advance the standard of care in autism care today.

About The Role

We are seeking a mission‑driven Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our growing Medical Services team. This role can be full‑time or part‑time, as we are open to both models.

This position is ideal for a physician who is passionate about early childhood development, collaborative care, and innovative models of autism treatment. In addition to clinical care, this role will include close collaboration with other providers and Soar clinicians to help shape and advance our integrated care model.

  • Collaborate closely with Soar’s clinical teams (BCBA, SLP, OT, psychology) to support and implement integrated care plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary patient visits, working alongside BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other clinicians to address patient needs holistically.
  • Offer expert guidance on behavioral challenges, sleep, feeding, toileting, co‑occurring conditions, and medication management when clinically appropriate.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary case discussions and provide consultative support to Soar clinicians.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives as Soar expands its medical services program, helping to shape innovative, evidence‑based models of autism care.
Qualifications

  • Willingness and eligibility to obtain medical licensure in additional states as Soar expands

  • Demonstrated experience working with children with autism and their families
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
