We are looking for a qualified planning professional to join our friendly, innovative and successful team. You will work on a diverse range of projects, with opportunities to broaden your experience and develop your career in a supportive environment.

This is an exciting time to join us, with significant growth taking place across Blaby District. You will determine a varied caseload of planning applications and development proposals, from bespoke rural schemes through to large-scale commercial developments.

Whether you are looking to take your first step into formal management or are already an experienced leader, you will have the opportunity to manage, support and mentor a small team of Planning Officers with varying levels of experience. We are looking for someone who can bring out the best in others while contributing positively to the wider service.
