Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity/development experience.
• Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps and secure software development.
• Programming/scripting: Python, Java, Ruby or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD, container orchestration, IaC, and security automation.
• Cloud security in Azure and/or AWS.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, risk management, encryption, secure dev.
• Understanding of network architecture, protocols, system administration, secure design.
• Familiar with GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.

Kforce has a client seeking a Development Security & Operations Engineer in Miami, FL (Florida). Summary: We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security practices, tools, and automation throughout the software development lifecycle. This role partners with development, operations, and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, improve secure coding practices, automate security testing, and strengthen the organization's overall security posture.

• Integrate and maintain security tools within CI/CD pipelines
• Perform automated code scans, security assessments, vulnerability testing, and code verification

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity/development experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, software development, or a related technical role
• Programming/scripting experience with Python, Java, Ruby, or similar technologies
• Experience with CI/CD, container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and security automation
• Cloud security experience with Azure and/or AWS
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities and developing remediation or mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, risk management, encryption, and secure development practices
• Understanding of network architecture, protocols, system administration, and secure network design
• Knowledge of regulatory/security frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2
• Strong collaboration, communication, and incident-response skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
