Job description

Development, Security, and Operations Engineer

Auria is seeking a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) Engineer to support satellite ground systems development. The role involves designing and implementing solutions for containerized microservices, automating deployment and testing in cloud and on-premises environments.

Essential Functions

1. Develop and enhance CI/CD operations across multiple cloud platforms.
2. Support software quality efforts, maintain the DevSecOps toolchain, and upgrade the software factory.
3. Conduct automated testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools.
4. Recommend and implement improvements to workflows and tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, AWSCLI or AzureCLI.
• Experience with GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of application security and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• U.S. Government TOP SECRET clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, and Security as Code.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and security standards like NIST 800-171 and STIG.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Salary Range

$93,000 - $160,000
