Engineering
Caterpillar’s Electrification & Energy Solutions (E+ES) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

The Development & Research Specialist plays a key role in advancing Caterpillar's next-generation electrification technologies by overseeing laboratory validation activities and supporting the integration of high-voltage systems. This position combines technical coordination, project execution, vendor and contractor management, and ownership of lab safety practices to ensure reliable, safe, and effective testing of innovative energy and powertrain solutions.
Extensive experience and knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Extensive experience and knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Extensive experience and knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Extensive experience and knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
