Job summary

Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the High Speed Products Group in Valley Green, PA. The engineer will plan and execute quality activities for manufacturing development projects, including FMEA, DOE, and metrology planning, while interfacing with vendors, process and product engineering to ensure capability and compliance.

Responsibilities include defining qualification plans, analyzing data, supporting CPk requirements, and driving process improvements with Lean tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality assurance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and governmental regulations.
• Ability to generate Quality Plans, Control Plans and Workmanship Standards using SPC and related tools.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support product development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate quality activities for manufacturing development projects, including FMEA, Product Quality Planning, DOE and metrology planning.
• Interface with vendors, process engineering, product engineering and manufacturing to ensure capability and documentation compliance.
• Lead risk assessments and implement corrective actions using Lean tools and statistical methods.
• Coordinate metrology transfer, inspections, and qualification activities across development to manufacturing.
• Support test method development, qualification planning, and CPk/CTQ analysis.
• Analyze yield, cycle time, and throughput to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
