The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a Development Operations and Events Manager in the Lee Business School. This role oversees event lifecycles, budgets, and donor relations to support philanthropy and engagement initiatives.

Reporting to finance leadership, the position requires independent planning and cross‑department collaboration, with regular campus hours and some evening/weekend events. Salary starts at $64,600 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 4–7 years of experience.
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit advancement, or similar organization.
• Experience coordinating executive-level, donor-facing, or large-scale events.
• Administering gift, endowment, or restricted funds; processing procurement and travel transactions.
• Familiarity with Workday or event registration platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full lifecycle of events (e.g., Nevada Business Hall of Fame, Thought Leader Series, Scholar Donor Luncheon).
• Oversee budgeting, vendor coordination, onsite execution, financial reconciliation, and post-event evaluation.
• Chair the School’s Events Committee and coordinate advisory board, donor, and development meetings.
• Administer development-related purchasing, travel, payments, and financial reporting; monitor funds.
• Maintain donor and development records, acknowledgments, and stewardship reporting.
