Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking a Development Officer to identify, cultivate, and secure donations and sponsorship prospects. You will collaborate with the Advancement team, review assets to maximize opportunities, and manage an active portfolio of prospects with a goal of at least 252 quality interactions per year.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, flexibility to work some weekends/evenings, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the GCU Advancement team to develop and close strategic gift and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Regularly review specific university assets that can be leveraged to maximize gift and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Maintain an active portfolio of prospects & supporters within the GCU database.
  • Engage in a minimum of 252 quality interactions annually with these prospects.
  • Collaborate internally within GCU to develop partnerships for gift activation.
  • Participate in other duties as assigned.
