Job summary

Vistra Corporate Services Company is seeking a Development Manager to lead power generation project development across multiple technologies, including gas turbines, solar, and storage, in regional markets. The role oversees permitting, land use, environmental approvals, and interconnection, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience (development and strategy, understanding contracts, project management).
• Experience in development in the Midwest or Northeast territories is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
• BA/BS/MS/MBA in engineering, environmental or business disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Execute project development strategy in the region.
• Accountable for all related aspects of project development for an assigned site, including customer and utility relations, permitting, land acquisition, general stakeholder relations, project schedule.
• Work with origination team to cultivate customer relationships in the region.
• Work closely with internal and external resources on project transactions.
• Responsible for budget and driving profitability of utility-scale projects on assigned sites.
