Qualifications

• Meaningful experience in real estate development.
• Multifamily, workforce or affordable housing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience across multiple stages of the development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of entitlements, permitting, design and construction.
• Comfortable managing development budgets and project schedules.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them forward independently.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable operating within a growing organization.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join an entrepreneurial developer entering a significant new phase of growth. Backed by a major new capital partnership, the business has substantial capacity to pursue new acquisitions and developments across multifamily, workforce/affordable housing, hospitality, mixed-use and commercial real estate.

The Role

• Manage projects across the full development lifecycle from acquisition and predevelopment through construction and stabilization
• Lead zoning, entitlements, permitting and municipal approval processes
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors and third-party consultants
• Manage development budgets, schedules and critical project milestones
• Support due diligence and evaluation of new development opportunities
• Oversee design development and construction execution
• Work closely with lenders, equity/capital partners and internal stakeholders
• Manage project reporting, consultant costs and development documentation
• Identify and resolve issues impacting project schedule, budget and execution
• Support projects through completion, stabilization and transition to operations
