Job summary

BOFFO seeks a Development Manager to grow support for its work with artists and communities. You will independently manage an assigned portfolio of donors, cultivate and secure corporate sponsors, oversee ticketed event revenue, contribute to foundation fundraising, sales, and events, and maintain the systems that keep development work moving.

The role has direct responsibility for sponsorship and partnership development, sponsor deliverables, grants, ticketed event revenue, merchandise,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of nonprofit development or related work.
• Experience managing donor relationships, sponsorships, or events.
• Strong writing, research, communication, and project-management skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel to Fire Island Pines.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of donors, cultivate and solicit gifts.
• Develop sponsorship pitches and manage sponsor relationships.
• Oversee ticketed event revenue and attendee experience.
• Track earned revenue from merchandise, publications, and grants.
• Maintain Salesforce donor records and reporting.
• Prepare grants materials and funder reports.
