Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys making things happen behind the scenes. They are highly organized, persistent about follow-up, comfortable working with donor information, and excited about building relationships.

They understand that successful fundraising is not only about making the ask—it is also about the research, preparation, communication, organization, stewardship, and consistent follow-through that make strong donor relationships possible.

This person should be interested in growing professionally. Over time, there may be opportunities to assume responsibility for a portfolio of individual donors and develop deeper experience in donor cultivation and solicitation.

Fundraising Partnership

Girls' LEAP is working toward an ambitious individual giving and fundraising goal. The Executive Director will retain primary responsibility for major donor relationships and major gift solicitations, while the Development & Individual Giving Coordinator will provide the infrastructure, organization, prospect development, stewardship, event coordination, and follow-through necessary to achieve those goals.

Success in this position will be measured not only by dollars raised, but also by the strength and growth of the donor pipeline, donor retention and engagement, quality of stewardship, successful execution of fundraising campaigns and events, and consistent follow-through on fundraising opportunities.

Why Join Girls' LEAP?

This role offers an opportunity to play a meaningful part in the growth of a community-based organization while gaining hands-on experience across individual giving, major gifts, donor stewardship, fundraising events, and nonprofit development strategy.

The Coordinator will work closely with executive leadership and have an opportunity to grow their fundraising skills while helping Girls' LEAP expand the community of supporters investing in girls and young people across Greater Boston.

Girls' LEAP is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourages candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to apply.
