Ground Up Ministries is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising, resource development, and sustainability efforts for adolescent girls in our care. You will design a multi-channel revenue strategy spanning major gifts, individual giving, grants, corporate sponsorships, and events.

You will report to the Executive Director, collaborate with the Board, and drive ethical fundraising that protects resident privacy and dignity while expanding community support.

• Demonstrated experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, donor relations, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships and secure financial support.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to create and implement measurable fundraising strategies.
• Commitment to ethical storytelling, confidentiality, and donor stewardship.

• Design and execute an annual development plan with clear goals; diversify revenue streams through annual, recurring, and major gift strategies.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with individual and major donors; oversee donor communications, recognition, accurate record-keeping, and impact reporting.
• Build strategic partnerships with businesses, foundations, churches, and civic groups to secure financial contributions, sponsorships, and in-kind support; raise community awareness.
• Identify, write, and submit grant proposals in collaboration with program leadership; manage submission deadlines, reporting compliance, and budget narratives.
• Oversee fundraising events and donor campaigns from planning to execution; coordinate volunteer and sponsorship support, and drive donor retention.
• Partner with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to report on revenue projections, uphold ethical fundraising practices, and protect resident privacy and dignity.
