Job summary

The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, seeks a Director of Development to expand philanthropic support and grow donor relationships. You will lead individual, corporate and foundation fundraising efforts, manage a portfolio of donors, and guide the development team to meet revenue targets.

Reporting to the VP of Advancement, you will craft proposals, collaborate with executives, and help shape the Museum's culture of philanthropy while advancing its mission

Qualifications

• Five+ years in nonprofit development or related fundraising fields.
• Proven success soliciting annual commitments of $5,000+ from individuals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with high-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new individual, corporate, and foundation prospects to grow the donor network.
• Manage an active donor portfolio, advancing relationships from identification to cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
• Lead strategies to grow major giving and Inner Circle programs, and develop customized proposals for donors.
