WNCSource is seeking a visionary Development Director to champion our mission and advance financial sustainability.Serving as a key member of the leadership team, the Director oversees fundraising, donor stewardship, grant acquisition, and strategic marketing to transform milestones into meaningful support for the individuals we serve.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field plus 3 years of management experience.
• Alternative: Master’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Social Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of fundraising, donor stewardship, grant acquisition, and strategic marketing.
• Lead the development team and translate milestones into lasting support for individuals and families served.

Requirements

Education & Training

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, combined with a minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
• Alternative: Master’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Social Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Experience

• A minimum of three (3) years of dedicated, professional fundraising and development experience, with a proven track record of securing major gifts, managing campaigns, and writing successful grant proposals.
