Job summary

Development CRM Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with healthcare system departments to coordinate and allocate appropriate use of donor funds to be utilized effectively and efficiently within the hospital which ensures donor and hospital satisfaction.
• Manage funding requests from intake to distribution to evaluation.
• Management of support team members.
• Oversee and delegate stewardship tactics.
• Manage tactics and execution of annual fundraising appeals.
• Manage various fundraising strategies and implementation.
• Development manager will supervise support staff.
• This position also manages special projects; carries out fundraising priorities in the healthcare system.
• Supports fundraising strategies and methods or activities to ensure proper acknowledgement, recognition, and stewardship of donors.
• Participates in developing campaign materials, case statements, and brochures.
• Builds working relationships and serves as a department liaison to other departments and other key personnel to achieve successful fundraising; and nurtures a culture of philanthropic support.

• Knowledge of fundraising/development concepts and appropriate solicitation techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic donor record keeping and integration systems, working knowledge of Blackbaud's Raiser Edge Software preferred.

EDUCATION

Education and experience equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree but not required, and 5-7 years related experience.
