Job summary

Richmond Waldorf School in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Development Coordinator to advance fundraising, grants, communications, alum relations, and events.

You will work with the Development Committee and report to the Executive Director, coordinating campaigns, donor stewardship, and community outreach. A Bachelor's degree and several years in school development are preferred.

This is a 40-hour week, 12-month position with benefits including health, retirement, and tuition remission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
• 3 years experience in development or fundraising.
• Fundraising, communications, and marketing experience in a school setting.
• Understanding of Waldorf education.
• Experience in a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising planning and execution for annual and capital campaigns.
• Manage annual report creation and donor communications.
• Coordinate grants reporting and grant applications.
• Oversee school communications and social media content.
• Build and strengthen alum relations.
• Plan and coordinate school events with stakeholders.
• Liaise with Parents Association and Enrollment/Development teams.
• Submit internal and external reports timely.
