Job summary

NorthPoint Development is seeking a Development Associate to join the Downers Grove office. You will support due diligence, entitlements, market research, and budget development while coordinating schedules and permitting with internal teams and external consultants.

You will help track project reports for capital partners, manage consultants, and organize bid analysis, ensuring timely delivery of permit submittals and responses. A collaborative, hands-on approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Real Estate.
• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal project team with due diligence, market research, and budget setup.
• Assist in creating and tracking development schedules from due diligence to land closing.
• Coordinate with Capital and Asset Management to share project reports.
• Coordinate with consultants (civil, environmental, geotechnical, etc.).
• Organize scope and bid analysis from consultants and contractors for pre-construction.
• Manage applications, permit submittals, and responses with NorthPoint team.
• Lead progress meetings with stakeholders throughout development.
• Perform additional research and analysis to support development execution.
