Position Description: The Development Associate provides essential administrative support across SOME's Development and Communications department, reporting to the VP, Development Operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for the SOME general inbox and development phone line, processes incoming gifts and donor correspondence, and provides financial administration support, including department invoicing and expense reconciliation.
The Development Associate also supports donor acknowledgment, special events invoicing, SharePoint and systems organization, and cross-team administrative projects, playing a central role in keeping the department's daily operations running smoothly.
Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The hourly range for this position is $27.04 .00 to $28.63 and may be commensurate with experience.
Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 years of experience in nonprofit development operations, fundraising support, or related administrative roles. Demonstrated experience working with donor databases/CRMs and reporting tools.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-4 years of experience in nonprofit development operations, fundraising support, or related administrative roles. Demonstrated experience working with donor databases/CRMs and reporting tools, specifically Salesforce and GoFundMePro/Classy platforms.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (40 hours per week); Hybrid Schedule (4 days in office/week & 1 telework day after 90-day introductory period)
Reports to: Vice President, Development Operations
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires looking at a computer screen for several hours a day. May be required to sit for long periods.
