University of California, Berkeley’s Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) seeks a Development Associate to lead donor engagement, stewardship, and development operations across four campuses. The role coordinates calendars, reports, gift agreements, and reconciliation with UDAR and CADS, while supporting events, communications, and fundraising strategies.

The position requires collaboration with senior leaders, campus staff, and faculty to advance CITRIS

Qualificações

• Requires excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
• Solid knowledge of fundraising principles and donor relations.
• Knowledge of administrative operations: event planning, donor engagement, and contracts & grants regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the development calendar and donor visits; coordinate reports and gift activity.
• Oversee donor stewardship, acknowledgments, and communications for major donors.
• Prepare event briefings, solicitation materials, and donor materials for CITRIS leaders.
• Support transition to a new CRM system and maintain data integrity.
• Plan and execute donor events and VIP meetings for CITRIS leadership.
