Job summary

RiverSpring Living in Riverdale, NY is seeking a Development Associate to support our fundraising efforts. You will enter donations in Raiser’s Edge, manage donor records, and generate reports to ensure data accuracy.

This role will also assist with donor communications, acknowledgments, and event support. The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree and at least two years in fundraising or related fields, with strong Excel and Word skills, and experience with donor databases.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in fundraising/development or related field.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor database preferred.
  • Strong office and computer skills; Excel expertise required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

  • Enter all donations into the donor management system.
  • Create and manage donor records and data updates.
  • Run and verify reports; collaborate on data integrity checks.
  • Prepare acknowledgments and receipts for donations.
  • Support donor relations and calendar management for the department.
