Job summary

It focuses its efforts on improving the lives of people with low or moderate incomes and examines how policies affect particular groups, including people of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ people. ABOUT THE POSITION

The Center has an opening for a full-time Development Associate to join its Development team, based in the Center’s Washington, D.C. office.

The Development Associate provides vital cross-cutting support across all Development team functions. This pivotal position reports to the Senior Director of Individual Giving but will collaborate and support work across the nine-person Development team, including key projects with the Vice President for Development. In addition to work related to the individual giving program, the Development Associate will assist with Salesforce database-related foundation grants management as needed and may be tasked with some foundation writing assignments. The Associate will be expected to develop a working familiarity with CBPP funders and donors, their giving histories, and their relationships with staff, CBPP Board members, other CBPP individual donors, and the larger philanthropic community.
