Job summary

Harvest USA is seeking a mission–driven Development Associate to join our team in Dresher, PA. You will cultivate donor and church relationships, help advance fundraising initiatives, and support communications to grow our ministry impact.

The role collaborates with leadership on stewardship and development planning, offers hands‑on donor engagement experience, and provides full‑time benefits as part of a dedicated, gospel‑centered team.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and steward donor and church relationships.
  • Conduct donor meetings and direct asks.
  • Share ministry updates at churches and presbytery meetings.
  • Maintain donor prayer requests and personalized acknowledgments.
  • Develop donor cultivation plans using CRM software.
  • Create and edit appeal letters (print and digital).
  • Collaborate on development content: articles, website, video.
  • Plan and execute events like the Thank-a-Thon.
  • Represent Harvest USA at conferences and church events.
  • Capture and analyze development data; maintain fundraising dashboards.
  • Support exhibit preparation and other duties.

Position Overview

Harvest USA is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Development Associate to join our team. This role is central to building and nurturing relationships with donors, churches, and other ministry partners, ensuring that our mission continues to grow and thrive. The Development Associate will work closely with the Director of Ministry Partnerships and Stewardship to advance fundraising initiatives, strengthen donor engagement, and support impactful communications.

Key Responsibilities
Donor & Church Engagement
  1. Cultivate and steward relationships with new, current, and lapsed donors/churches.
  2. Conduct donor meetings and make direct asks when appropriate.
  3. Share ministry updates at churches, presbytery meetings, and other venues.
  4. Maintain donor prayer requests and follow up with personalized acknowledgments.
  5. Assist in developing donor cultivation plans using CRM software.
Development Communications
  1. Support creation and execution of appeal letters (print and digital).
  2. Collaborate on development resources, including magazine articles, website content, and video communications.
  3. Assist in planning and executing events such as the annual Thank-a-Thon.
  4. Represent Harvest USA at conferences, seminars, and church events.
Data & Metrics Management
  1. Capture and analyze development performance data.
  2. Maintain dashboards to track key fundraising metrics.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Support staff with exhibit preparation.
  2. Perform other duties as assigned.
