A nonprofit organization is seeking a part-time Development Associate to support grant writing and design evaluation plans. This remote position requires experience with grant writing principles and knowledge of nonprofit best practices. Candidates must be culturally competent and able to work with various populations. Compensation is $37/hr for 15-25 hours/week with room for growth.
Ivanhoe Development (ID) provides nonprofits across the U.S. with the program design, evaluation, and funding they need to fulfill their mission and vision. ID works with organizations that directly impact historically marginalized populations. The Development Associate will support Ivanhoe Development’s grant writing, design, and evaluation as requested for the current client list.

Reports To: Development Manager
Compensation: $37/hr for 15-25 hours/week (with room for growth)

Summary
Ivanhoe Development (ID) provides nonprofits across the U.S. with the program design, evaluation, and funding they need to fulfill their mission and vision. ID works with organizations that directly impact historically marginalized populations. The Development Associate will support Ivanhoe Development’s grant writing for the current client list. They will also remain up-to-date on evaluative and design methods and help create, execute, and analyze individualized evaluation plans alongside clients and ID leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services to client organizations
Research emerging grant writing methods and present opportunities for expansions and additions to Ivanhoe Development’s library of resources
Attend grant writer webinars, seminars, lectures, etc., and present findings to the ID team
Act as lead author on grants for the current ID client roster
Manage current grant activities for clients, including but not limited to coding, research, and writing
Attend and contribute to client and internal staff meetings as needed
Other grant writing/evaluation/designactivities as assigned by ID staff
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience, either academic or professional, with grant writing principles and/or practice
Knowledge of best practices in nonprofit grant writing
Ability to work with and support a development team and client roster
Skilled in current technology used to conduct research and create plans, reports, and documentation, which may include NVivo, ArcGIS, Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and the American Evaluation Association publication portal
Ability to access internet connection, Google Suite, and video conferencing during working hours
