The Development Assistant is a fundraising professional who is primarily responsible for assisting the Database Manager in the operation, configuration, and maintenance of Holy Name Foundation database (Raiser’s Edge) and any associated computer systems as well as helping the Development Staff with all fundraising programs and events as needed.
The Development Assistant will maintain accurate gift accounting processes and procedures, including but not limited to acknowledgement letters, gift entry, and creation of mail files and preparation of all check requisitions for the Foundation. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of gift processing principles and practices, a high level of professionalism and organization, self‑motivation, and collegiality. There will be collaboration with the Foundation team to ensure prospect records in relation to the gift and solicitation process are kept up‑to‑date and accurate.
