Job Summary

The Development and Succession Project Manager will collaborate with leadership in the Advanced Nuclear business to align skill development with platform delivery goals. Responsibilities include reviewing training plans and long-term strategies, performing skills assessments, developing training plans to address gaps, and monitoring team performance to meet training objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement training curriculum to enhance Project Management and Project Controls skills.
• Work with senior management to identify critical roles and develop succession plans for internal candidates.
• Monitor employee development progress, provide feedback, and adjust plans as needed.
• Assess employee skills and measure training impact through performance metrics.
• Operate within a matrix environment, understanding how this role integrates with other key roles.
• Identify opportunities to optimize project management practices and improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards and policies.
• Contribute to strategy and policy development.
• Build relationships across the organization to support succession initiatives.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in nuclear industry engineering, operations, project management, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of project management or controls experience.

Eligibility

• Preferred location: GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC, or highly qualified remote candidates in the US.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information, contingent on obtaining necessary authorization.
