Overview

Job information Development and Configuration Manager at the company RSI. This is a remote position in the United States. Minimum education required: Master Degree. This information technology role is open to job seekers with the latest education/graduate credentials.

Job Responsibility

RSI stands at the brink of launching exciting products and services to further serve the government service industry. We are seeking a Development and Configuration Manager to lead and manage teams that are building the next generation of a multi-tenant SaaS platform. In partnership with our development teams, our configuration specialists are building our OOTB solution as well as client specific solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading agile teams to successful outcomes that delight customers.

Internally, this position is titled People Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage an agile team of configuration specialists, providing oversight toward project outcomes and goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration team methodologies and best practices as they interact with product development teams.
  • Collaborate with customer project teams to show project progress.
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure work is appropriately allocated to agile teams based on capacity and team charter.
  • Contribute to departmental improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Enable teams to utilize Jira to visualize their work and collaborate across teams.
  • Aggregate agile team data to assist client projects with estimation and forecasting toward milestones.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that empowers self-managing teams and psychological safety.
Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage agile teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

RSI determines pay range based upon numerous compensation factors, including experience, skill set, and geographic location. A current and reasonable estimated range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. However, it’s possible for an individual to be hired at a salary outside of this range.
