Job summary

Tyk Technologies is seeking a public-facing Developer Advocate and content creator who can explain APIs clearly to developers. You’ll write blogs, tutorials, record videos, and host demos at meetups and conferences around the world.

This remote role includes extensive travel across Europe; you’ll build a real, problem-led presence in tech communities, train users, and feed insights back to product and marketing while learning in public.

Qualifications

• Experience creating technical content for developers (blogs, videos, tutorials)
• Ability to speak clearly about APIs and AI topics to a technical audience
• Willingness to travel across Western Europe as part of the role
• Right to work and travel across Europe (visa sponsorship not provided)
• Comfort with Linux/CLI and basic infra concepts
• Familiarity with AI tools and differentiating AI-assisted work from AI-generated content
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Create blog posts, tutorials, videos, and live demos for real API topics and customer implementations
• Keep developer-facing docs up to date alongside content
• Make meetups a core channel, travel for events across Europe and London, and host sessions
• Train and support real users in person and feed feedback to product/marketing
• Share learnings publicly to help the community and improve content quality
• Build a strong developer presence across social channels and communities
