Job summary

A high-growth technology company in New York City is seeking a Developer Relations / Technical Content Lead. This role requires a strong technical foundation and excellent written communication skills. You will become a subject matter expert and create high-quality technical content, support developers, and help shape the adoption of the platform. My client is an early-stage, high-growth technology company building tools for modern, API-first teams. They are looking for a technically strong, builder-minded individual to help create an exceptional developer experience from first touch through long-term adoption.

You’ll work closely with founders, early team members, and customers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who genuinely enjoys teaching, writing, and building tools that make other developers’ lives easier.

You will play a key role in shaping how developers understand, adopt, and succeed with the platform.

What You’ll Do

• Become a subject matter expert on the platform and own the developer experience end to end
• Write high-quality technical content including documentation, tutorials, and real-world use cases
• Create and maintain clear, accurate, and developer-friendly docs
• Record educational walkthroughs, demos, and short-form video content
• Build demo applications and sample integrations to showcase product capabilities
• Partner with customers, support, and product teams to identify friction points and turn them into helpful resources
• Support and grow the developer community through thoughtful engagement

About You

• Excellent written communication skills, particularly in technical writing
• Comfortable explaining complex concepts clearly and concisely
• Energized by helping developers solve real problems
• Excited to take ownership and build processes from the ground up
• Comfortable creating videos, demos, and educational content
• Prior experience in Developer Relations, technical documentation, or technical content roles is highly preferred
