Overview

The Developer - IV is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions to streamline IT operations.

This role involves scripting, integration, and configuration management using tools such as Python, Ansible, and ServiceNow.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable automation strategies and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implementation
• Develop and implement automation strategies in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Write Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate workflows.
• Create reusable Ansible roles and modules for common tasks.
• Integrate workflows using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Operations and Maintenance
• Monitor automation workflows to ensure optimal performance.
• Set up alerts and notifications for critical issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and playbooks.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Documentation
• Maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, playbooks, and procedures.
• Document incident responses and resolutions.
• Work closely with application teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
