Job summary
TEKsystems is seeking an Integration Developer in Columbia, SC to design, build, and support IBM Sterling B2B Integrator solutions. You will implement BPML workflows, ITX mappings, and secure partner connectivity, collaborating with stakeholders and trading partners.
The role covers profiles, accounts, adapters, and services within the Sterling platform, plus administration and on-call production support. This is a hybrid contract position located in Columbia, SC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator experience.
- Strong BPML development and workflow design experience.
- ITX mapping expertise and knowledge of partner connectivity protocols (SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, AWS S3, Connect:Direct).
- Experience with Sterling ecosystem components such as SFG, SCC, MFG, and ITX.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and trading partners.
- Design, develop, and maintain Profiles, Accounts, BPML business processes, Adapters, and Services within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Configure and test bi-directional connectivity using SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, AWS S3, Connect:Direct.
- Develop ITX mapping transformations for EDI X12, XML, datasets, and flat files.
- Administration & Troubleshooting: manage certificates, security configurations, performance tuning, log analysis, and on-call production support.

- Experience with Sterling File Gateway (SFG) mailbox routing
- Strong ITX mapping and integration experience
- Knowledge of Sterling ecosystem components:
- SSP (Secure Proxy)
- SEAS
- SCC (Control Center)
- Connect:Direct
- Linux/Unix administration experience
- Shell or Perl scripting experience
- Strong understanding of:
- SSL/TLS
- Certificates
- Encryption
- SSH Keys
- PGP Keys
- Secure file transfer best practices
- Develop and maintain integrations, configurations, and BPML workflows
- Configure partner onboarding and mailbox-based file routing
- Support secure, web-based file exchange for business users
- Build and maintain transformation maps
- Configure secure external connectivity and gateway services
- Monitor file transfers, configure alerts, and generate operational reports
- Support automated and secure file transfers between Connect:Direct nodes
This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, SC.
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
