Software Engineer, Platform – Columbia, USA

Pay Range

$57.35/hr

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud‑native applications aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Develop and update code using Python, Java, Node.js, or related technologies
• Deploy serverless solutions using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions
• Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
• Integrate cloud services such as API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployments
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes‑based environments when needed
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance using CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar tools
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to technical documentation
• Provide guidance on cloud best practices and standards

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 4 years of job‑related work experience OR 2 years of job‑related experience plus an Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 6 years of experience in application development, systems testing, and other related IT experience
